I have no desire of rooting it as of now. I have tried creating a full image backup of the device using the ADB (Android Debug Bridge) method (adb backup -apk -shared -all -f C:\backup.ab), which looks like it works, but when it completes, no backup files are created (Although the backup process is shown as having been completed).
I put the boot.img on the phone, a Pixel 2 loaded the magisk App put the magisk v18 zip file on the phone. If you are not able to boot a patched boot image or a twrp image on Android 10, here is a workadound. Boot TWRP and images is possible also on Android 10, but it needs some workaround 1) Turn phone into Download Mode 2) Use command fastboot

Can I add root permissions for rom without custom recovery (TWRP, CWM, ect.) - means only via edit system.img and boot.img files (row files). Without custom recovery no sense to do zip files to flash so only way is (I think) add manually systemless supersu to the kernel and rom "img" files. GDEW.
